A suspected killer was arrested after shooting an employee and stealing a car at a truck stop Monday morning. Police Chief Justin Meyer said it was shortly before 8 a.m. when Lawrence K. Coffee, 26, walked up to Pilot, 301 N. Ridge Road, and used a gun to threaten a woman who worked there. Coffee allegedly shot an employee in the upper thigh before getting behind the wheel of the car.
