Home Inspection Standards of Practice

Home Inspection laws and Standards of Practice will vary among the States. Some States have laws governing the home inspection industry and other States do not. Fortunately, there are home inspection associations, which have adopted Standards of Practice for their members. Both ASHI, American Society of Home Inspectors, and InterNACHI, InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors, have their own Standards of Practice; Illinois also has laws and Standards of Practice. Our home inspectors will perform a home inspection according to these Standards of Practice.
